Extended battery sometimes not recognised? Help!?!

Hi there,

I have installed a larger battery, sometimes it is not recognised and my "about this mac" power tab, and battery time icon revert bact to the old (smaller) battery's stats.

This problem occurs when I power on using the battery alone (not the AC) after the EEE has been left for a while, say overnight.

The problem doesn't happen if i remove the AC cable after powering on and then run on battery.

Can I change a setting somewhere to fool the computer into recognising my new battery every time?

Webcam has been recognized as USB 2.0 Camera, but not working (black picture instead of video).
System Info:
USB 2.0 Camera
Version: 3.27
Bus power: 500
Speed: Up to 480 Mb/sec
Product id: 0x0505
Vendor id: 0x05e3
Netbook was bought with Linux installed.
Maybe need some additional kexts for webcam? I checked two archives with extra kexts for Eee PC netbooks and did't find any webcam-related kexts.

64gb runcore ssd

I'm not really sure if I'm suppose to post this in here or somewhere else or if anyone is even on here anymore but I have a 64gb runcore ssd form my 901 that I'm looking to sell. I've pretty much abandoned my 901 but it was running snow leopard really fast with this ssd. If anyone is interested let me know, or else I will use it as a 64gb usb drive. Thanks!

i am running 10.6.8 on 1008hag or 1008ha
Works:wifi/ bluetooth/ ethernet/ reso:1024x600
only trackpad don't work like i want. i don't have 2 fingers scrolling but nearly

I know I"m going to be yelled at for being dumb but I installed this audiee thing and now my computers is screwed up and has no sound at all.
It says there is no output device.
I have an iMac 10.6.8
How do i revert and remove the audieee stuff that messed it up?

I was just looking for something that would allow me to switch between headsets to speakers without having to unplug the headset… but apparently this doesn't work now I have no sound :(

I patched bluetooth, gma950 integratedframebuffer but after installing sleepenabler kext the screen remains after waking from sleep.Anybody?

1201n recovery without dvd

ok so i just got my eeepc 1201n and osx works great on it…. but i need to dual boot to win7 but i cant go out and get a dvd drive to use the recovery dvd… i transfered it to a usb stick and did the whole bootsect run to make it boot, BUT it complains about inserting the dvd into the computer…

Anyone have any ideas how to make this work?

Yes at last! I have been modding, patching and hex editing DSDT - Intergrated buffers etc.
This 1.6.6 Appleintegratedframebuffer worked like a charm!
The wake brightness fix is working on my EEEpc 1005HA_GG.

see what I mean if you use one off these software solutions and put it to the darkest setting. At that point, your screen is black, but it's still glowing, meaning that the backlight is still on. This may work for people who just think the screen feels too bright, but the key is that it doesn't save a

It's probably better to actually delete the comment, instead of just renaming to "STUPID BOT", because otherwise the signature is still there and they are still gaining pagerank as a result. That's all they posted for - to make the links in the signature appear on your site :(
