hehe i installed this, and now (xD) the screen keeps being on all the time xD i close the lid, HDD sleeps, but system is running, if i open die lid again the screen LEDs are on, i see my desktop but no mouse. if i press the shutdown button the HDD starts and mouse etc are present.. sadly but i have to find another solution :(

edit: plus i recognized strange poor graphic performance, had to roll back to the old situation, maybe just the integratedframebuffer will work

edit2: doesnt work, it breaks my graphic performance. i am now with the black-screen problem again :(

thank you! sound now works, plus sleep (going to sleep) works fine and fast… but if i wakeup my eee the screen keeps being black. hdd etc seems to work after wakeup.

edit: i remember that this problem was at 10.6.3 present for a few of us too related to appleintegratedframebuffer.kext. do you have the newest loaded? or an older one in your E/E folder? (will try an old one now)

doesnt work neither… screen remains black, all other things work (got alarmsound when i press invalid keys and the shutdownbutton+r works too, so it is just the screen which doesnt wake up)

That's unfortunately the good link for the moment.Depends at which state you got KP.I didn't get any KP but I noticed with the AppleIntegratedFrameBuffer and IntelGMA950 kext from 10.6.4 patched sleepenabler wasn't working.I had to use previous versions.
Besides VGA out is not working after several trials.
I used a patched version of chameleon that support natively GMA 950 which I suppose is the cause of all the VGA out troubles.

Few words to say about my 10.6.4 combo upgrade:
First Warning and to clarify things like I saw over many forums and sites ,if you upgrade from 10.6.3 to 10.6.4 REMOVE sleepenabler.kext it causes KP over my 1000HE and replace it to "the generic" one provided from insanelymac.
Kernel doesn't need to be patched in order to boot.
Wifi is not detected anymore (but it is a Broadcom) means I had to modify IONetworkingfamily.kext in order to make it work.
Here is the link: http://www.mediafire.com/file/ndywdcnnkgd/IONetworkingFamily.kext.zip Use it with caution if you don't have the same wifi card as mine.
