The battery was like 60 something dollars so it isn't that bad. There is a HUGE battery like 12000 mah that I have seen for like 60 bucks.

I plugged in my power then powered it up and it worked. no battery was detected on that try.

Got mine from ebay and the seller is in China. That battery is only for a 701-900. Won't work on a 901 or 1000.
