This is AWESOME. Houston, we have internet.
The airport extreme card i got in the mail today worked right out of the box. Now, i have internet fully working. Now i can call this the dream eee-mac computer.

The bootup time for me is like about a minute, maybe a bit less. And by cpu throttling do you mean speedstep? i haven't installed it yet on this installation. its on my list of to-dos
Update:
iDeneb 10.5.6 upgrade kit - i did the install and as expected the computer rebooted twice. i made sure to backup my extensions folder beforehand. After it installed, i had to restore the framebuffer and gma950 kexts and then something strange happened. Brightness all of a sudden worked. I can now brighten and darken the brightness with the fn keys but it won't go completely off.
DSDT- did the power button fix, and the fix for closing the lid which both worked without a hitch. looking to add some more fixes soon
Speedstep - installed and working great, although i still don't fully understand the program and how to effectively use it as of yet.
Microphone is a no-go, too bad. ichat and skype would be killer
Airport card - in xp, the real driver is included on a leopard on the install disk but i have neither the install disk, nor a dvd-reader. Since mine is a broadcom one, what i did was use the dell 1500 wifi driver and install it manually in xp which got it to work. in xp though, i can't turn it on or off, only via bios. in osx i can. Also, i can't turn off bluetooth from osx
