Is there any progress in making the microphone work on eee?
it's the only issue i need to solve…

I think all the programmers have forgotten about the issue of MIC and LAN. I wonder somewhere in future whether it will be fixed or not. Should all the 1000H user give up thinking of fix issue of MIC & LAN???

Would be nice, but most recording isn't done with a computer, and with the small size of the drive and limited capability of the system in general its probably best to use a different mic source. The internal mic is finicky on linux, but it works.

I just wish I could get USB Audio Codecs, which require a soundcard unfortunately.

The microphone would be of great use for iChat AV and Skype. If it worked, I'd definitely find a way to fix the webcam, even if it meant buying a new one. Having a tiny video-chat system would be extremely useful for me.

It would be great to have LAN working as well. I heard LAN worked under Linux. Would anyone be interested to have LAN working???!!! and have a fully working LEOPARD ON 1000H

Yes indeed, everything is supported on linux thanks to the hackers.
