Hi,

i just installed IPC 10.5.6 on my Asus 1000H but i cant get the sound working ? I did exactly whats written in the sound guide on this site but still no sound! Argh! Im desperate! Quick boot disabled, Apple.HDA removed, Audio enabled etc. But still no sound ? Anyone got sound working with IPC or should i switch to another distribution ?

Any help is appreciated!

No, no, no!
Don't get him/her to use this tutorial.
Open the thread in the Sound forum Microphone and Audio In.
It has the full kext for sound there. Microphone and speakers, with autodetecting headphone port use.
