Hi Everyone,
I'm pretty new to the whole hackintosh scene and am having some problems with installing Leopard 10.5.6 on my 1000H and I'm pretty sure they're all related to the dsdt file.
I followed the guide by eNik which worked perfectly except for a few things, the first is that there is an X over the battery icon and it says it can't find any batteries, the second is none of the hotkeys work, some of them worked such as brightness control before I used the DSDT file but now none of them do anything, the last problem is that I can no longer boot Windows XP, it continues to hang when I select it, I've tried installing the Chameleon bootloader but it hasn't changed anything.
To my understanding, I'm supposed to the place the DSDT file in the root directory of the mac partiton right? I was a little unsure of that part. I also thought that it would be better to make my own dsdt file rather than the precompiled ones that eNik provides you with, but I haven't tried this yet as I'm no sure it would affect anything.
If anyone can help with these problems I would really appreciate it. I especially need help with the Hotkeys problem as I have a problem with my screen that causes lines to appear across it and unfortunatly the only way to fix it is with by killing the display, which can only be done with the hotkeys.
Thanks in advance,
Matt
